Classes

All our volunteers begin by attending a New Volunteer Orientation. The purpose of the orientation is to explain Red Cross history and procedures, to explain the Chapter volunteer opportunities, and to explain how Chapter volunteers choose positions. We offer extraordinary diversity in type of volunteer opportunity, as well as amazing flexibility in choosing a volunteer schedule. Volunteers are 99.2% of our Chapter's workforce. We could not provide any of our programs and services without you!

Orientations are held every month at the Arlington County Chapter: 4333 Arlington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22203.

There is no preparation needed for the orientation. Orientations last 90 minutes. It is important for all attendees to arrive on time as a lot of material is covered.
