"Challenge Course" - No instruction or training is given in this class; the course should not be mistaken for a full instructor-led practice session of CPR, AED and First Aid. This course is appropriate for individuals who are proficient enough to demonstrate knowledge and skill competency outside of a formal class setting. Participants have sole responsibility for preparing for the knowledge and skills tests. All "challenge courses" begin promptly. Please plan to arrive on time. You may "challenge" as many or as few skills as you desire!
With the release of the 2005 Revised Guidelines for First Aid and CPR/AED, students who wish to take this course must have knowledge of current skills (for example: the chest compression to breath ratio on an adult is now 30:2). If these skills are not familiar to you or you are in doubt, please contact our office at 703-527-3010, ext. 736 for assistance BEFORE REGISTERING.
REMEMBER: STUDENTS WHO DO NOT SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE THIS COURSE ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO REPEAT IT AND MUST REGISTER TO ATTEND A FULL LENGTH, INSTRUCTOR-LED COURSE.
Course Length: 4 hours
Course Cost: $40.00
