The American Red Cross Adult CPR/AED course focuses on training the lay rescuer in or out of a workplace setting. It combines OSHA-compliant Adult CPR training with instruction in Automated External Defibrillation (AED), the two skills needed to save the life of a sudden cardiac arrest victim. This full course also teaches the First Aid techniques of recognizing and caring for life-threatening bleeding, sudden illness, and injuries.
